Our family first worked with Kate at her previous company, where she gave us invaluable assistance in managing our father’s care as he dealt with advancing Parkinson’s disease and dementia. Kate was available to help at every stage of the process, even when plans to care for our father at home changed abruptly and completely with a sudden deterioration in his condition, which necessitated an emergency hospitalization, finding a nursing home within a week, and beginning a Medicaid application. Kate was tireless in ensuring our father’s needs were met. She also provided us with an upfront estimate of the cost of services, and was scrupulous in keeping us updated with the time she was putting in assisting us.

After our father’s passing, we turned to Kate again to assist us with planning for a different scenario, as our mother is now on her own and plans to age in place in her home. We feel confident that we will be able to provide the best support and assistance to our mother with her help. Kate Thaisz worked for me approximately one year – I hired her to assist in exploring a possible transfer of patient from Florida to Connecticut, to interface with family members who were novices with caregiving protocol and to deal with staffing issues. If you have aging parents and loved ones and need help making a plan, setting up care arrangements, trouble shooting elder care doctors attorneys anything really you can't do better than Kate.
